Number sign #

Also called hash, hashtag, octothorpe and pound sign.

This symbol is on the same key as the number 3.

To type #

  1. Move your right pinky finger to hold the right Shift key.
  2. Move your left ring finger to press its key.
  3. Immediately bring back both fingers to the their respective keys in the home row.
